POEIRAS MÁQUINAS & FERRAMENTAS LDA.
Founded in 1984, the POEIRAS Máquinas & Ferramentas association with a fast and successively increased Social Capital, shows since its foundation a associative structure that superlatively permit to qualify as a familiar enter-prise. Its capital is detained exclusively by the family who barrow it the name (Father and Sons) being the administration formally exercised by the couple.
Established in Vila Viçosa, a place with a strong tradition in the activity of extraction and transformation of marble, soon the POEIRAS Corporation sees its statutary vocation - the trade and repalment of machines and industrial tools - specialised in that sector, based in the "know - how" of its major partner and manager Mr- José António Poeiras, becoming the agent of italian equipments and ATLAS COPCO official distributor.
Its constant increasing credibility and truthfulness in the business as a sales operator and its growing area of involvement in the techical assistance generate a leading fact in the enterprise lifes the appearance os its industrial vocation.
In fact, the increasing complexity of the customers solicitations in terms of technical specifications, determines the autonomous development of efficient solutions wich turn up in the begining of its own production, in a logical board of marketing wich have imbue the business leading.
That's how in the early 90s, the POEIRAS Corporation culminates this process of strategically replacement in the market with the dynamic project of industrial investment wich consubstantiate the establishment of its industrial unity in Vila Viçosa Industrial Zone focused in the production and assistance of machines and tools to the extractive and transformation industry of ornamental stones.
Since the original project until nowadays they have quadruplicated the industrial covered area and the total liquid active. Nowadays, they have their industrial basis settled in their own lands with 10800m2, beign the covered area 9000m2 and the exposed area 2600 m2. |
